how do i search for people in my area who are online now

Sorry your post wasn't replied to sooner, jsq. The answer is that it's not possible to change any preferences for Who's Online. To find people in your area who are online, you'll simply have to Search in your area, looking for this image (shown below) in profiles. I'll shoot you an email, too.

How do I delete my account?
To remove your account from our system, click on the "My Account" tab, then on the "Settings" link. Then, click on "De-Activate Profile". Once your account has been deactivated, you will still be able to login, but your profile will no longer be viewable by other users and you will not appear in any search results. You also will not be able to receive any mail through Mingle2. If you'd like to reactivate your account, simply click on "Re-Activate Profile".
