Hey, hey, hey!!

Hey!

What are your thoughts about this highly elusive and controversial subjecto?

Sometimes, behaviors are wort' a second look; sometimes, you gotta write down some observations about the stuffs peoples does, and look 'em over. Study 'em, if you will.

Behaviorology: The study of human behavior.

THOUGHTS? QUESTIONS? OBJECT-I-ONS?

What do you think, my puppets?

If they lack the level of interest required for making a comment, would they have the level of interest required to read, learn, think, and make a comment? Some maybe; but for many, if they are inclined not to post its probably better that they don't.

If this has anything to do with the following....

Basic research includes (a) descriptive analysis of behavior (behaviography), (b) experimental analysis of behavior (experimental behaviorology), and (c) a theoretical or conceptual analysis of behavior (theoretical behaviorology).

(a) and (b) seem harmless and possibly useful.

As far as (c)... I just don't have much confidence in the kind of thinking thats been done in this area so far. Its more like philosophy and less like science.

Eventually I hope we will have models for behavior that are rooted in neurology - and then we will have something tangible.
