Well, I guess the Marines are not anywhere in your decision to join? Marines are just a little bitty off-shoot of the Navy. We all know the Navy guys love being packed like sardines together on a ship for months at a time. Be all you can be in Army Special Forces. You get to go rafting, scuba diving and even some mountain climbing. In the Navy, ie, Marines, all they do is march around and grunt.
