Burglar calls 911 for ride away from scene
by Jeff Thompson, kgw.com Staff kgw.com Posted on December 18, 2010 at 10:23 AM WEST LINN, Ore. – A woman burglarized a West Linn home, and then called 911 to give her a ride away from the crime scene, police said. The victim of the burglary returned home to find that somebody had broken into her family's house. She was missing laptops, jewelry, clothes and a large duffel bag. Investigators thought the description of the duffel bag was eerily similar to a bag belonging to a woman who had just called 911 asking for a ride, claiming she was tossed out of her house. She told the responding officers “she was cold, wet, scared and stranded at Sunset Park,” said Sgt. Neil Hennelly. “She asked for a ride to the closest transit center so she could take the bus to her mother's home.” That woman, 28-year-old Zannish Frazier had several bags with her at the times, which were filled with stolen goods. Frazier was charged with burglary and theft. |
