I helped at the Indian center yesterday to help hand out gifts to the kids of Natives here in Nebr. that are often forgotten at Christmas. We had 280 presents to give out and 328 kids showed up, we all felt horrible and all of us are barely making it but we pooled our money for another 20 some gifts. We all made calls last night and as of an hour ago we have enough for over 400 gifts!!! I still believe that most people have good hearts and will dig deep to help a child get at least one gift from Santa!!

Sweetie, I do this in my hometown every christmas, every year I donate a new toy under the Christmas tree at one of the local news stations, the Christmas box toy drive, if I was in Nebraska, I would be able to help out the native kids, all I can offer is my prayers.

Awesome, Mikey! There needs to be more people out there like you, as well as the other generous people here on Mingle! I donate to toys for tots every year, there are so many families that are in need.
