ok so things calmed down and everyone realises we are not there to hold up the bank when this lady/nazi from the mississippi game commission shows up on the scene. she is a total ***** about everything. she starts questioning me about the tiger, "when was the last time he has slept, has he eaten today, where is his water bowl?" i mean she was just nuts. she goes through all of our paper work and sees that we have everything in order so there is nothing she can do, but for some reason she she still tried her best give us a bad time. even the cops were laughing at how she treating us.
by this time i have rocky back out of the trailer and two of the detectives that came for the "bank robbery" are down on their knees petting rocky and taking pictures with him. lol it was crazy! the nazi is still calling to confirm our permits and giving me a hard time about the whole thing when the head of the ms. game commission pulls up, now we have met before when our facility helped in a rescue down there and he is the guy that got us the permits to travel through and be in the state. he thinks the entire thing is funny and he sends her on her way, thankfully. so now a news crew shows and we end up being the lead story of the day for the biloxi 5 o'clock hews...we do the interview with them and figured we had better get out of town before something else goes wrong. ooooh wait i forgot...we are no more than 2 miles outside of town and i see a police car coming up from behind with his lights flashing; we were wondering what we had done now! he catches up to us and we pull over, but there are two cars not one. it turns out that they didn't make it to the bank so they caught us just so they could see the tiger too. what a couple of great guys these two turned out to be. they were so happy to have found us...we ended up getting rocky out and let them take pictures with them. a bunch of pictures, on the squad cars, in them, with them....yeah biloxi was quite an adventure. |
