night before christmas eve;
my sisters and mom and me make tamales.
the guys watch all the kids.
this is also my brothers birthday.
so we do something for him.
christmas eve;
cook all morning.
go to someone's house for dinner.
stay up til midnight.
and open all presents then.
then we sleep.
next day everyone gets together again to eat.
we eat nonstop.
haha.

Well since both my parents have been divorced twice. I had christmas with my dad and brother yesterday because it was the only day we were all free.

Then Christmas eve I go see my dad's side of the family.
We eat, open presents, do our gift exchange.
The gift exchange is fun because all the gifts are wrapped then placed in black garbage bags so no one know what they look like.
The first person picks one and then the next person can either steal the gift they opened or pick another one. Sometimes you get something cool sometimes you don't.

Then this year I am going to my mom's fiance's side of the family christmas eve night for a get together.
Then me and mom are going to stay up all night wrapping presents and drinking.
Then get a little sleep and wake up in the morning open presents, go to my mom's fiance's parents and do Christmas with his family.
Then my mom cooks dinner and I help.
My sister, her boyfriend and my grandparents show up for dinner.

Then on Boxing Day evening I am going to my step mom's house and I am doing christmas there with her and the family.

Plus we eat tons of food and baked goods!!!
This year I am making homemade stuffing for the first time.

So what are you going to do when you have a man in your life?
What if his traditions are different?

everyone has their own little things that make their way a bit unique. probably not as different as you imagine.

I'm literally laughing right now.
ahahaha.
my family is just "unique."
how'd you think I turned out this way.
I've never met anyone like us.
doesn't matter if you're hispanic, white, whatever.
as for the man thing;
haha.
you should ask all my in laws about their traditions.
