Hell? If i ever said i was bored, mom would say grab a shovel and finish the pool that you started last week while you were bored.

These days, we tell the kids to go play on their iPads*** lol

And my mom would tell me to go play in the middle of the highway......go figure

One of my first childhood memories...

The live broadcast of Evel Knievel attempting the jump across Snake River Canyon....That was in 1974, and I was 3 years old. He failed, but he was still my hero. One career path I'm glad I never chose to follow...

Tandy 1000? Hell, I had a TRS-80 Color Computer II and an Atari. Before that, my brother saved his money up to buy Microvision, the first portable hand-held video game system. Had 2 Tandy 1000s after they came out too.

Clunky cellular phones with battery satchels? Yup! We used to have one of them too.

Eight track tapes? My first was the soundtrack from Star Wars.
Cassettes, CDs, VHS/Beta...

However, I first used the internet back in about 1987 on a dial-up BBS. Began using it on a regular basis in 1990 on a Unix system. Prodigy, GEnie, AOL....I remember MUDs and MUSHs....GNU....Even met a few college girls over the internet back then. One went to a college in the same town as my college, another went to Syracuse, and another to Mt. Holyoke. I actually met two out of the three in person too.
