Been watching The Dresden Files and loving it. Not the books, but not bad at all!

I liked that show too.

It only got two and a half stars, based on my preferences. Probably won't watch it.

Want to watch a really good foreign film?

Crimson Rivers with Jean Reno - (The French agent in Godzilla).

It is a really good dramatic story with a lot of funny scenes as well.

You will have a whole new appreciation for the French police after watching this movie. laugh

When it comes to horror movies, I avoid all non-monster movies. So this was a refreshing treat over what passes for horror these days.

It's a neat quirky low budget horror comedy from the 60's.

From IMdB- In a dilapidated rural mansion, the last generation of the degenerate, inbred Merrye family lives with the inherited curse of a disease that causes them to mentally regress from the age of 10 or so on as they physically develop. The family chauffeur looks out for them and covers up their indiscretions. Trouble comes when greedy distant relatives and their lawyer arrive to dispossess the family of its home.

Inception - pretty good
Salt - enjoyable
Warrior Queen - fantasyed up about Boudicca, good though.
Jane Austin's Persuasion - 2007 version, good but frustrating, why can't people ever just talk!!!

I just saw Fire in the Sky. Pretty good movie. Based on a true story. About six guys who see a UFO and one gets abducted by aliens. IDK, seems like maybe they just found some shrooms and one guy had a real bad trip? Who knows...

funny analysis. .

Just saw MOTHER and CHILD--- great cast. . interesting story. .as many lives end up intertwined in the ending. Kind of like Crash---

Samuel L Jackson, Naomi Watts. Kerry Washington. Karen Benning. Plus other famous faces. .

Lots of sex scenes. rated (R)

I liked crash a lot.

One of the things I really like about Netflix is that it makes it so easy to go backe and see the movies I missed the first time around. I just watched Pretty Baby (1978). I picked it because I love Susan Sarandon, but prepubescent Brook Shields was absolutely delightful (and seductive. Made me suspect that I may be a pedophile).
