Its open because the rich want that cheap labor. We can do anything we wish with our borders but when the rich want something they get it. IF THEY REFUSED TO CROSS TO WORK THEY WOULD MAKE IT EASIER FOR THEM TO GET HERE. Who would pluck your chickens so you can buy it at a buck a pound? NO american would submit to the slaughter assembly line we would file for carpel tunnel or workmans comp after a month. A mexican who does not know the system and has poor english is happy to do that job for six months then live like a king in Mexico. The employers are more than happy to oblige. Ask yourself how your job interviws have gone in the past. Trust me they know when they hire an illegal and they look for them. You cant blame the mexicans for comeing for work blame the employers who hire them.

Why do unions support open borders?

We dont support open borders but we do defend the rights of all people regardless of race. If you are a dues paying member we try to represent their best interests. Granted as in all things not all Unions are good and all are not bad.

What realy discusts me about Palin is the fact the media sticks a microphone in her face at all. I wonder if they are hopeing she says something crazy or the media thinks she has something to say that is important. When one compiles a mental list of people who have the education and the experience to comment on topics that have a bearing on how our lives and the lives of our children will be lived you find Palin to be at the verry bottem. What is this women besides a quiter and a fraud? She has been built up into something she clearly is not. One has to wonder why such a creature is being promoted by the media. I can only speculate that when most americans are quistioning our government at every level she is something some people can turn to that is totaly harmless to the powers that be. She serves to distract and poison the well of americas malcontents and focus their energies in a direction that is pointless and wil show no results for change at the end of the day.
