God wanted us to experience life free to make a choice. Of course he wanted us to make the right one. You physically have to ask for salvation, it doesn’t just happen when you die.

DEUTERONOMY 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

JOSHUA 22:5 But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.

MATTHEW 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

JOHN 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

ACTS 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

2TIMOTHY 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
