I just learned of this, Vivian.
It was 6 years ago I lost my only sister to cancer, and it feels like yesterday. I know how hard it can be, and My prayers are with you...

OMG! I just saw this...I'm so touched by all of you. Thank you for caring
I have good news. My sister made it through this time. She is not well and will not make it. They are keeping her comfortable right now. But at least she may have one more Christmas to spend with her family. As we all know...God is GOOD!. He let me see her one more time. And hopefully I will see her once more before she goes to be with Him. She is so looking forward to seeing Him and and wishes us to celebrate the fact that she is going Home. To Him, our parents and all the loved ones who have gone before. And she promised me she would always watch over me. ( She also told me to do something with my hair!  )

You are so right. We tend to get busy in our own lives..living day to day and take it for granted that our loved ones will be there when we find the time to get back to them...and more often than not...they are gone before we can say how we really feel. |

She told me last night that when she woke up after she had been on that ventilator that she felt so at peace..said there was a soft blue glow to the room and she could see her daughter there crying, but she was so calm. She could feel His presence all around her, couldn't see Him but could feel Him. Her daughter told me tonight that there was a difference about her mother. Said it was something you could see. At peace with the world and all in it. |
