I am very much into symboloc and visual art. To give you some examples of what I mean is Salvador Dali's painting of a Man coming out of an egg shell. In symbolism this might deduce he is "coming out of his shell" as the old saying goes. It is also named geopolitical birth(or somthing like that). Which may be in reference to a political figure being born and coming out of his shell so to speak. That one is pretty easy and anyone could possible see it. Also why I picked it becuase it is easy to describe.
Another one that is probably one of the cooler one's I have noticed was in Return of the Jedi when Luke was fighting Darth Vader. This is hard to describe so work with me. The symbolism runs parellel to the story line in as much as Vader is trying to turn Luke to the Dark Side. Operative words are Dark Side. I am sure everyone noticed that Luke's hand was black and mechanical (like Vader's entire body) after Vader cut his hand off in the Empire Strikes Back. Most people probably did not notice that the SIDE of Luke's Face was DARK (notice the two capatilized words are Dark Side) when Vader was addressing Luke's feeling for his sister and contimplating using them to turn Luke to the Dark Side. Symbolizing a conflict within Luke's head as it being part Dark Side. I have a million of these feel free to ask or email me.

haha.
i'm almost certain one can take ANYTHING and give some sort of explanation for it.
i personally believe it's a bunch of bs to sell it.
but hey,
i'm also an artist.
i'm good at coming up with this bs.
and if it makes sense,
why not use it.

No actually I am pretty accurate. And there is rights and wrongs. Take the old movie psycho for instance. So many have seen this movie so many times they over look the obvious.
The part that stands out like a soar thumb is the name Bate's. It is the main charectars last name and it is also the name of a hotel. As your reading this your probably already deducing in your mind that it is in refrence to a trap. Such as bating for a trap.
If you remember they had a conversation in the office of the Bate's hotel in reguards to people falling into traps. If you remmeber they spoke about people designing traps for themselves by human nature. It has been so long since I have seen it. If you remember correctly in the office of the Bate's hotel there were stuffed birds on display. Sort of like trophies for previous people "he trapped" at the Bate's hotel. The lead actress also signed her name as Craine which was not her real last name when she checked in at the Bate's hotel. Which kind of implies the "trap" she fell into might have possible been forgery. Craine is also a type of bird. I forget the actual conversation that took place in the office there were alot of refrences to traps and "his hobby" reffering to the stuffed birds.

Crane was indeed Marion's real last name, as her sister's name is Lila Crane.

BHernandez said to me that you could possible add a meaning to just about anything. She is right you possible could. Some meanings just kind of jump out at you... and when you get you know your right. Henice there are rights and wrongs somebody could possible misinterpet a message that was not the true meaning of it. But when you look at "signs" you know it when youre "right".

it seems to me that you are talking about interpretations. given the fact that something is left to such a subjective factor, (one's own analysis) i am not certain you can draw concrete rights or wrongs.

That is true, alot of it is not so concret6e. But when you pick up on the messages it is actually pretty spine tingling and you know your right. I mean like off the top of my head I can remember watching a movie that had a girl write someone's name in the fog of on a windshield. And it clicked in my head that she "missed" (think mist) that person. Writing that persons name in the "mist" was actually pretty sharp art. And the story line was about a person that solves problems for other people and goes hand in hand that she missed that person's name that she wrote. You can say that art has no rules and your right. At times you just know it however.

I said No actually... Just an expression I guess. I am actually looking for someone who is an author that I can add this type of Art to. Wehter a painter or an author or a director. I actually have some pretty sharp "signs" to share but I dont write, paint or direct.

no offense,
but it seems as if you find these little things,
and you feel as if you've discovered the cure for cancer.
they're no biggies actually.
insignificant pieces of information really.

Well it is kind of like the begining of Superman 3/ It shows the two lead actors sitting in a web looking up at the stars having a conversation. The fact they were sitting in a spider web would symbolicly imply "on the web" like they had the discussion online.
