I make my own and prefer thick and meaty country style ribs...with Sweet Baby Ray's bbq sauce....yummy!

I think country style and short ribs are one and the same, I think...

I love to do the country style ones in a slow cooker with BBQ sauce all day long, they just fall off the bones. Yes they are meatier, I just love the baby backs BUT you and I should get together and cook, sounds like anything we come up with would be tummy yummy!

So wanna share your bbq sauce recipe????
lol....does sound that way....we could cook and invite our Mingle friendsbigsmile

Love slow cooking a rack for 14-18 hrs....Laughably, I buy the cheapest ribs and constantly baste with regular old sauce and a little extra garlic and onion powder and everyone raves "Best ribs I have ever had" Not a big fan though...I make em for my dogs or who ever drops in that day.

Well Krupa, you haven't had MY ribs!

True, but when I start sucking on them I dont wanna hear "STOP IT!!! I'm ticklish!!!!"

I am so not gonna say that!! Suck away, the closer to the bone, the better the meat!

Oh and my sauce is award winning!

I ain't won any awards with my sauce but, the chicks like it....unless it goes off and gets in thier eye. "My eye! My eye! It burns! It burns!"

Ribs??? Thought I was having baby backs with the folks tonight but turned out to be short ribs, I was soooo disappointed! So which do you prefer? Do you eat them out or make your own sauce and do them at home orrrr make them at home but have a fav brand of sauce.

Sorry I seem to be on a food kick here, feel free to ignore me!
I like to parboil baby back ribs and use a sauce that is an original recipe from a local restaurant - haven't found better- better yet the creator of the sauce is named "Kiss"

short ribs & boneless ribs I like to do in a slow cooker with an onion and some garlic

boneless are also good on the grill

I'm not the best cook in the world but that's IMO

Nah, gotta blacken a bit of the sauce, either on the grill or undr the broiler, got to have that blackened bit!
