I got a thing on my hotmail a little while ago saying I had a new e-mail at JSH...BUT....UMMMMMMMMM I don't...Ok someone's JUST tryin to screw with my head!!!!!!!!!

at least you get that native..i don't get any alerts anymore. I never changed my settings..it just stopped letting me know.

Mike- My inbox says I have new messages but isn't showing any. Can you help?

A lot of our email notifications unfortunately were delayed today due to our server downtime. So you may be getting email notifications now for messages you actually received hours ago. Hopefully everything should get caught up shortly and we'll be back to normal.

Hey Mike, my problem has been going on for over a week. I use to get mail notifications in my hotmail account and then all of a sudden it stopped sending me them. I had to log in to check.

That's ok Mike...Now I know it wasn't just an illusion!!!!!!!

OK - so here's what's going on with the mail issues.

Many people are seeing that they have mail, but when they check their inbox, it doesn't look like they have any new mail.

The cause for this is that until about 30 minutes ago, the time on the servers was sent incorrectly. If you look carefully at the messages in your inbox, you'll see that some of them were sent on Monday 7/2, i.e. in the future.

You actually DO have new messages, but your messages are shown to you in time order. So the new messages are actually a few pages in to your mailbox, because our server thinks your old messages are actually newer.

We're working on a fix for this, so thanks for bearing with us. Hopefully everything will be fixed shortly.
