This site does NOT lean one way or another. There is a very diverse group of moderators. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and beliefs. All the site asks is to follow the rules and keep the debate civil. So everyone, please stick to the subject and keep insults off of the forums.

Besides, I knew someone 15 years ago that believed in much of the same stuff as the OP. When he became older, he realized it was all a bunch of crud. From a few base facts, the truth becomes warped and distorted by an underground counter-culture into a lie that the propagators are convinced is truth, not realizing that it is their own logical processes which are fundamentally flawed. You cannot argue with them because they really do believe they are correct no matter how wrong they are.

The guy I knew, one day he realized he was having problems remembering things because he smoked waaaayyyy too much of the herb. So he quit smoking it, got his memory back, and realized how flawed his whole belief system was. He came back to reality, and has never smoked again. True story. Now, I'm not saying this is the case here, but I am bringing it up to let others make up their own minds.

My issue with the conspiracy theorists is that the majority of them are in it for the money. You can go back to Roswell and look at how many books were written, speeches given and money made off the UFO craze that ensued. Go on Amazon and type Roswell or JFK conspiracy in the search and you will find pages of books and movies. Now it's the 9-11 "truth without any shred of evidence" money machine.

However, back to topic, for someone to step into a site like this and think that he can spot political leanings, intelligence, or virtually anything else from a few posts is ludicrous. To advise others what to think about those who have been posting thoughts and observing thoughts of others for (sometimes) hundreds or perhaps thousands of posts is beyond ludicrous.

Some of us are actually old enough to have experienced the last decades and have scientific knowledge beyond what is in that video.

Personally, I don't see pot as much of a danger compared to booze or cigs. Both kill. Both bring in tax dollars. But hemp isn't going to save the economy unless hemp rope is used to hang the tax and spenders.
