Depends on the amount of time. Generally the longer you're together before distance comes into play the better the chances of the relationship staying intact. Also the longer you spend apart the more likely the relationship will crumble.

For sure. I was with a girl for bout 6 yrs... we have a kid. i went to iraq for about 16 months (8 then R&R then another 8) took a yr off and came to afghanistan....relationship over. of course there are other things involved but the stress and time apart was a hugh factor.
My opinion....dont start the relationship off long distance. Good Luck either way! |
