Passion Saved

From the day I first laid eyes on you you captivated my heart
I stood there frozen in that place not knowing how to start
To tell you of my love for you in fear of what you would say
So I kept my feelings tucked inside to share with you one day
I thought my chance had come and gone never to be seen again
Then I found God had bigger plans intertwining our lives again
The second time I laid eyes on you I stood there in a daze
Staring into your loving eyes all I could do was gaze
Now those feelings that I thought were locked so deep inside
Came rushing back into my heart forever to reside
So now like you I have tears of joy rolling slowly down my face
With tender chills running up my spine thinking of our next embrace
From now on may the tears you shed be only tears of joy
Coming from the passion saved in the heart of a little boy
