Two Hearts Drawn Together

Her we are a man and a woman
half our lives spent apart,
Walking through life not knowing for sure
what was missing within our hearts.
Longing for something so deep in our sole
unknowing of what it might be,
Until God him self filled our soles with passion
intertwining these two destinies.

After seeing one another our hearts give us peace
to explore what life has in store,
For these two lonely hearts so battered and bruised
I pray it will be love forever more.

Is this by chance a fluke or a fling
by accident or not meant to be?
I think not, this is part of Gods master plan
creating a passion between you and me.

I wish words could show the way that I feel
or explain my longing inside
Wishing you were mine to have and to hold
forever to be by my side.

Why are our hearts so drawn to one another
like a flower that reaches for the sky?
The answer is unknown but if we search together
I believe our spirits will fly.
