I would have loved to have had this as a kid. I know its not intended as a toy, but for $42, this USB microscope would have made the most awesome toy ever.

I'll look it up but if it vibrates you are in trouble!!
j/k - i definitely will be getting something like this one of these days for fun and for work. read the reviews and some people were having trouble with it and there is little or no support for the product apparently. according to the reviews they couldn't get it to work on windows 7. a lot of people bought the celestron instead http://www.amazon.com/Celestron-44302-Handheld-Digital-Microscope/dp/B001UQ6E4E/ref=pd_cp_p_0 |

Took me a while to get the 'vibrate' joke, since its not very smooth or comfortable looking. It reminds me vaguely of HAL from 2001.
