I thought someone was in a pickle. Like having to meet BF/GF parents or something! I have never seen a christmas pickle though, sound weird, but who am I to judge traditions. My mom had to remind me to inform my friends that are coming over for Thanksgiving that we do not serve a "traditional" Thanksgiving meal. Haha-they would have been in for quite the surprise showing up for Gumbo and potato salad!
