This thing is a boil on the A S S of society that the moderate and conservative dems need to lance once and for all.

(CNN) - Outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Friday she will run for minority leader, even as some moderate and conservative Democrats have said she should step aside.

Don’t eat StarKist Tuna

Ex-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s home district includes San Francisco.

Star-Kist Tuna’s headquarters are in San Francisco , Pelosi’s home district.

Star-Kist is owned by Del Monte Foods and is a major contributor to Pelosi.

Star-Kist is the major employer in American Samoa employing 75% of the Samoan work force.

Paul Pelosi, Nancy’s husband, owns $17 million dollars of Star-Kist stock.

January, 2007 when the minimum wage was increased from $5.15 to $7.25, Pelosi had American Samoa exempted from the increase so Del Monte would not have to pay the higher wage. This would make Del Monte products less expensive than their competition’s.

When the huge bailout bill was passed, Pelosi added an earmark to the final bill adding $33 million dollars for an ‘economic development credit in American Samoa ‘.

Pelosi has called the Bush Administration “CORRUPT” ? ?

How do you spell “HYPOCRISY” ? ?

Earlier Friday, Rep. Chris Van Hollen of Maryland said he is stepping down as chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, a common move after one or two terms in the grueling position of getting members elected.

Rep. Dan Boren, D-Okla., one of the most conservative Democrats in the House and a member of the Blue Dog caucus, told Fox News on Friday he could not "in good conscience support Pelosi" if she were to run.

But the National Republican Campaign Committee welcomed Pelosi's announcement "based on her proven ability to create jobs for Republican lawmakers."

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result," NRCC spokesman Ken Spain said in a statement. "Of course, if House Democrats are willing to sacrifice more of their members in 2012 for the glory of Nancy Pelosi, we are happy to oblige them."

I am in total support of pelosi keeping her place as the head of the party in the House..

I don't think there has ever been anyone more suited to lead the democrats than her..

Hell... I hope she replaces Biden as Obamas VP in 2012..
