This is really only a piece of what I have in this little poem I guess. It's definitely unfinished, requires a lot of work, but I kind of like what I have so far, so I thought I'd see how it goes here.
I come to you tonight As cigarettes lit To awesome songs that Deserve the lighting of cigarettes - The crescendo leading to climax Leading to climax Leading to climax And eventually the silence And the car upon a winding road. I’ve missed the ways the taste Of lust and passion Are upon the joining tongues Like fruit flies on the fruit Gathering together in festive fashion Sweeping back and forth, Retreating, extending, and again. |
