| Topic: Becoming a grandma for the 2nd time | |

I received a text message from my son sometime today while I was at work...he and his wife will be welcoming their first child, a daughter, Baylee Rose, sometime within the next 24 hrs. Baylee wasn't due until mid December...so because of an early arrival, she will be in NICU until then. I just hope and pray she doesn't have any complications.

Thank you all!
Just got off the phone with my son NIck...there was an ultrasound taken around 11am and Dr.s didn't think Jessica, (my daughter-in-law), had enough amniotic fluid, so they decided to break her water around 1pm this afternoon. As of a few minutes ago Jess has dilated to 4cm...so it could happen before the night is over. |

Baylee Rose arrived this evening at 5:20PST weighing in at 4lbs. 2oz. It is reported that mom & baby are both doing well!

Had I known my kids would start having babies so soon...I probably never would had left Washington state 3 years ago. |

Baylee Rose arrived this evening at 5:20PST weighing in at 4lbs. 2oz. It is reported that mom & baby are both doing well!
CONGRATULATIONS. Maybe sure to enjoy every minute,because one day they are babies and the next day they are 16 yrs old,have a boyfriend,plus going to middle college. Take lots of pictures.

Praying God will keep precious baby in His loving care .. remember He loves her more than all of you! Hard to conceive with a parent's/grandparent's love .. but nevertheless, true
and prayers for a competent and caring hospital for her to spend her first days in ..
ps .. my first (and only) granddaughter was born to MY Jessica =) in much the same way due to fluid being low! All came out fine
And Congratulations Grandma!!!!
