I really hate my job.

I think most of us who have ever worked can identify with that sentiment!
I had a job with the phone company for 2 years, and there were days I had to force myself to go.... Later on, a combination of an inheritance, and a best friend who owns his own company (and who often needs things written and edited for his business), allowed me more freedom with my time, and a flexibility that many don't enjoy. But work is work, and we all have to support ourselves somehow. The trick is finding something you like doing, and then finding someone who will pay you to do it.... What kind of work are you doing? |

me myself and i ENJOY driving taxi.it to me is the best job out there.i get to drive around WITHOUT a seatbelt on.i get to meet people.i get to go for long drives.i also enjoy the night shifts that i barely get anymore.but hey! money is money.it pays the bills.reason for no seatbelt is i cannot be in a confined area.a seatbelt IS too confined for me.otherwise i black out.so the police just wave to me as they see me driving around.plus my boss LOVES how i deal with drunks.also seniors ADORE me.i joke with them and i get told by my boss to keep up the good work.

I work in sales.
The only reason I've stuck with my job this long is because I adore the people that I work with. |
|
|
|
is there a big demand for sales
in this era of power boats |

Yeah, good co-workers can go a long way towards balancing out bad working conditions, an indifferent management, etc. If you like the people you work with, the job becomes less of a "chore" and something that you might even look forward to sometime.
At least you have that aspect working in your favor! I have a friend who used to work for one of those billboard companies, and he told me about a co-worker who actually fell off one of the scaffolds and died on the scene. That sort of story makes me feel a little less bad about some of the crappy jobs I've had in the past -- it could always be worse.... |

I don't hate anything.
Except peas. and spiders. |

aj -- Just be grateful you don't work in a pea and spider factory!

I am grateful!
Very grateful! I sacrifice one goat every week in order to give thanks to the gods for my good fortune. |

Sometimes I really hate your job too!
What is it you do again? |

She sells people peas.
Which is why everyone hates her job. |
|
|
|
But sometimes she redeems herself by post here.
Which makes everyone cool. |

aj -- What's the problem with peas? I'd rather have them than broccoli or cauliflower or those tuna fish Pop-Tarts....

Peas are much friendlier than carrots...and squishier.
(is that a word?---it is now...) |
