I am thinking of moving (want to get the heck out of Florida), but sure where to go. Maybe North or South Carolina.

actually that is on the list!! I am not into cities, I kind of want a small town with a good small town feel!

Snuggles - It is not that Florida is bad, but there are alot of law changes and insurance problems here right now. Also Florida is not geared to families and younger people.

ella your florida is well ( offense to anyone) little new jersey too many people there. I like it more where I just moved to St Augustine, Jax, and Daytona are all close........

Wisconsin has great schools, but the taxes here are very high. Thw midwest is definitely a place for the small town feel. In fact there are so many small towns here you miss them if you sneeze while driving through them!

I grew up in west Virginia and it was the best place to be as a kid. Too bad there are no jobs there or I would think about going back!

It is absolutly beatiful there!!! I was in Cudahey for a while, but it gets pretty darn cold!!
I would have to borrow some ear muffs from Grayhound!!

Wisconsin is beautiful! I drove through the cranberry bog section of the state yesterday and saw three different families of cranes.
But every time you turn around here the taxes are being raised on one thing or another. |

Why not try Texas...I do not do city very well myself i was born and raised in a small town in PA and I moved here to Montgomery it is small quait and yet not far from the bigger things and the hill country is not far....look up Montgomery texas it is a nice lil country town...and when they say Texas is a world of its own that never made sense to me till I came here and it truely is a great place to live we have it all here! Good luck in your move and decision...
