Can't say as any of the breakups I went through were stupid.
One guy threatened to behead my parakeets because he was pissed over various and assorted things and when I told him he could find a job while I didn't work for three years - like him, another was married, another changed his mind on the type of life we had discussed. |

The stupidest time would have to be a fight over a damn movie.

I know people who have broken up over things like where to go on vacation or what kind of pet to get. Seems like people could work that stuff out if they wanted to.
Me, I only break up with someone because of their drug/alcohol issues or because they decide they want to change me into somebody's dad. |

Stupidest break up for me?
In highschool, my girlfriend of 3 years broke up with me (and then ran my foot over with her minivan,  ) because I was friends with pornstars on myspace.

I broke up with a girlfriend because she started getting psycho over me rating food at restaurants...restaurants that we had not been to together yet.

I got my hair layered one day and my boyfriend broke up with me because he said I did it on purpose to tick him off.
