I know what the Mods are thinking seeing this post but this is such an obvious video by the band Queen!
We all who know this band know Freddy mercury was really out of the closet! This video is the one where he is vacuuming his apartment in a leather miniskirt. The mustache is very sexy! Actually, Freddy was Bi, not gay, although that challenged the social mores of the time. Today, tons of artists are bi like Vanessa Carlton, Fergie, Brian Molko(Placebo), and Gavin Rossdale(Bush), but back then I guess it was a big deal. I say who cares what their sexual preference is.

I say who cares what their sexual preference is. trust me back "then" its WAS a BIG deal, trail blazers like Mercury, Bowie and even Cooper opened doors nobody even thought existed...today its all so hoo-hum, and isnt that a little bit sad..? it was so awesome to be part of the counter-culture and feel like you were into something so new NOBODY had a clue as to what it was (least of all your parents). |
