We are so spoiled nowadays. We don't usually have to wait for anything. Nor are we willing to.

Isn't that the truth...Unfortunately that is the way society sees things. I think a large part is due in fact to the increase in technology. Some people are in such a hurry they fail to see what is right in front of them.

Very true. The reason I put that up there is because every day I see people posting on here about how they can't find anyone. Some have only ben on the site for a week or teo.

for some putting instant coffee in a microwave oven takes too long. as far as this dating site, i don't see much dating going on. meeting people on here is easy, but i have yet to see people posting about how their date was.

I guess i'm not that worried about it. If it happens it happens.

What I am saying is people are so use to getting what they want right away. So they think they're going to meet the love of their life right away on Mingle.

True...however things do not work out this way realistically. Any relationship takes time to build it doesn't just happen overnight. This is where I like to go back to an old favorite quote..."Good things come to those that wait."

I was referencing the observation about people wanting instant gratification here at Mingle and that it appeared no one was experiencing that...

Maybe they instantly found true love and vanished. We just don't know it if we are still here.

Sorry to confuse...I should have quoted the post I was referencing. blushing

"People asking questions, lost in confusion.
Well, I tell them there's no problems, only solutions.

Well, they shake their heads and look at me as if I've lost my mind.
I tell them there's no hurry - I'm just sitting here doing time."
