I was talking to this girl about Sir Ian McKellen. She didn't know who he is. I told her that he is the guy that plays Magneto. She didn't know who Magneto is. I then asked her if she knows who John Lennon was.

Apparently Richard Harris considered McKellen a terrible actor, so McKellen turned down the part after Harris had died and needed a replacement.
