There’s a special lady you want to impress on a second or third date with a romantic home cooked meal. But you’re a single man who has never only know how to make sandwiches. Well here is a very nice, tasty and romantic 3 course romantic dinner that should make her go crazy for you.

Good news is you can do this in less than an hour... and we’ll try to keep the garlic and onion VERY minimal.
Here's my suggestion

FOR THE APPETIZER/ Keep it simple
Make a Caesar salad (assuming that you know how to make that)... throw in a few grilled shrimps in there and some lime juice it will take your salad to another level.

THIS WILL TAKE ABOUT 10 MINUTES
----------------

FOR THE ENTRÉE/ again we keep it simple (And it's French)

You can make a filet of sole.
The great thing about that fish, the taste is very sweet and flesh is so tender that it feels like it melts in your mouth. You will watch her literally close her eyes as she eats it. And no fishy smell.Go to your local poissonnerie (place where you buy fish) and ask for 2 filets of sole. About 8 ounces each. You will watch her literally close her eyes as she eats it.

2 - sole fillets
1 pinch salt and pepper to taste
1 green onion, sliced (include some green tops)
1/2 medium lemon, thinly sliced
1/3 cup dry white wine Water
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 pound mushrooms, sliced
2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
1 large egg yolk
2 tablespoons whipping cream
2 parsley sprigs to garnish
2 lemon wedges to garnish

Sprinkle sole with salt and pepper. Fold fillets crosswise and place in a greased 8-inch-square baking pan. Top with onion and lemon slices; pour wine over all. Cover and bake in a 400 F. oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

Remove from oven; discard lemon slices. remove the liquid from the pan, but don't throw it out, put it in a cup. If it's not at least half a cup, add some water (to the juice) to make 1/2 cup.

In the meantime, leave your sole in a warm place. Like in the oven after it has cooled down.

Melt butter in a small pan over medium-high heat; add mushrooms and cook until lightly browned. Stir in flour until bubbly. Gradually add cooking liquid from fish and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. In a bowl, combine egg yolk with cream and beat; stir in a little of the hot liquid from mushrooms. Add egg mixture to mushroom sauce in pan and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.

Lift sole onto a warm serving dish. Blend a little of the liquid that collected in fish pan into mushroom sauce to thin it slightly, if needed. Spoon sauce over fish. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley and lemon wedges.

THIS WILL TAKE ABOUT 30 TO 35 MINUTES

NOW MY FAVORITE PART... DESSERTTTTTTTTTT/ and oh so simple

Buy some fresh strawberries, 2 bars of dark chocolate (75% or more) and also 1 bar of white chocolate.

1st you need to make sure that you Wash the strawberries and please fellas, do not remove the stem. You will to hold on it when you dip it in the chocolate sauce.

Then I need you to melt the dark chocolate... I think it's best to bring a pot of water to a boil, and using an aluminum mixing bowl, put the bowl over the pot. Make sure that the bowl is large enough so no water gets in your chocolate. Chop the chocolate and put it in the bowl. Use a whisk as the chocolate is melting. Don’t forget to use a spatula if the melted chocolate is getting all around the sides of the bowl.

When the chocolate is completely melted, dip the strawberry in by holding the stem. Rest it on parchment paper and put it in the fridge.

A few minutes before your date arrives, melt the white chocolate too, and get a fork.
While the the strawberry is still on the parchemin paper, take the fork, dip it in the white chocolate, and drizzle it over the strawberries. That will make little lines of white chocolate over the straberries. Repeat as many times as needed but don’t overdo it. It's really beautiful.

Or if you want, you can dip the strawberry in the white chocolate, but only the bottom part of the strawberry, like that it will be a layer of dark and white chocolate.
Store in the fridge until it's time for desert.

THIS ONLY TAKES ABOUT 10 TO 15 MINUTES (Not including the time it spends in the refrigerator)
-----------------------------------

IN TOTAL, IT SHOULD TAKE 50 TO 60 MINUTES for you to prepare such a great meal that will make you a keeper in her eyes. :)

You can have the strawberries with either champagne or white wine.
My favorite white wine on a budget is called Aufkellereien. It's German, but It's really nice and sweet. And it will definitely go with both your filet of sole and your chocolate dipped strawberry too.

But hey, if you guys mess it up a little, that's ok. She will be grateful and impressed that you even cooked. lol

If you have any questions regarding any of this... ask away. I'll do my best to answer.

Good idea girl... but there's one thing I forgot to mention on the recipe. The 1/3 of a cup of dry white wine, you have to pour it on the fish before you put it in the oven. That's what's going to create the sauce.

It won't let me edit it anymore.
