Just yesterday I was in school, playing, living, acting a fool.
No dreams of my tomorrows, just getting over family lived sorrow's.
So I started driving a truck at 21, thinking that would be fun.
Then to wed and have a child, but that only lasted a little while.
Still with my driving, I kept on striving.
Doing what I felt was right, driving down the highway all night.
With two kids who called me dad, this life was really not that bad.
Then a new child and wife to try again at having a good life.
Sixteen years later, she was having an affair, sorry, I DON'T SHARE!
So now my driving has been twenty years, felled with beers and tears
My kids now grown, divorced my wife. Me alone my heart feeling torn.
Then I found a manic depressed gal, who let me know life can be HELL
So I broke that off and seek ed a new way, still driving everyday.
I found the Net and a place called Just Say High,
thought it was pretty cool, so I gave it a try.
Its name changed to Mingle2 and still I drove and talked here to.
I never came here looking for a lady, just some friends, maybe.
Then I spent my time in the forums, passing all my boredoms.
Meeting everyone who needed a friend, starting a new trend.
Then into flirting and talking in emails all night, until daylight.
I met some wonderful women, and made a date, thinking its fate.
Many had their own bag of pain, dating left me felling that strain.
Now I'm still driving, and relocated my life a thousand miles away,
Thirty years behind the wheel,still wanting that one lady to thrill.
Feeling I have found the one, but she's wondering if I'm her one.
My dreams half seen, my hearts half full,this life we both explore
Living everyday, feeling blessed to have passed her way.
Maybe this time I'll get it right, with God giving us his light.
This has been my road to her heart, well, at least in-part.
I hope this makes you all see, what this Place has done for me.
