Early birds catch the worm

I mainly went because of a friend. He's obsessed, and knows all the hot spots for releases. People used to tease him because of his collection, they stopped when he sold one of his figures for $1500.

My obsession though is collecting anything horror- I have a gigantic horror film poster collection, and I still love to buy VHS...which are getting harder and harder to find...

Footsteps
FOOTSTEPS Liz was doing her homework at the dining-room table. Her younger sister Sarah was asleep upstairs. Their mother was out, but she was expected back any minute. When the front door opened and shut, Liz called, "Hello, Mama!" But her mother didn't answer. And the footsteps Liz heard were heavier like a man's. "Who's there?" she called. No one replied. She heard whoever it was walk through the living room, then up the stairs to the second floor. The footsteps moved from one bedroom to another. Again Liz called, "Who's there?" The footsteps stopped. Then she thought, "Oh, my God! Sarah is in her bedroom." She ran upstairs to Sarah's room. Only Sarah was there, and she was asleep. Liz looked in the other rooms, but found no one. She went back down to the dining room, scared out of her wits. Soon she heard footsteps again. They were coming down the stairs, into the living room. Now they went into the kitchen. Then the door between the kitchen and the dining room slowly began to open... "Get out!" Liz screamed. The door slowly closed. The footsteps moved out of the kitchen, through the living room, toward the front door. The door opened and shut. Liz ran to the window to see who it was. No one was in sight. Nor were there any footprints in the fresh snow that had been falling. THE MAN OUTSIDE A young girl was home alone watching TV on a cold winter night. The TV was right beside a glass door, and the blinds were open. She looked over and saw a man staring back at her with a weird smile through the glass! She screamed and panicked and then garbed her cell phone and pulled her blanket over her head so that the man couldn't see her dialing 911. She was so scared that she kept the blanket over her head until the police got there. They ran inside to find her still safe. It was snowing a lot that day So the police looked for footprints first. But there were no footprints to be found. Puzzled, The police went back inside the house. That's when they discovered wet footprints on the floor leading up to the couch where the girl was still sitting, that came from the back door of the house. The officers looked at each other nervously but also relieved. Then one of them asked if she forgot to lock the back door. To her horror she realized that she did. "Miss, you are very lucky," one of the officers finally said to her. "Why," she asked. "Because," he told her, "the man wasn't outside at all as you may have thought. He was in here, standing right behind the couch! "What you saw in the window was his reflection! VOICE FROM THE BASEMENT There was this old house that was on the block that kids talked about being haunted cause a lot of murders took place there, but it was also said to have many valuables. It was going to be torn down soon, so one night a group of kids broke in and searched the house for valuables. They split up into groups of two to make it easier to search the many floors and rooms of the house. One group, THE BRAVEST, went to the basement cause they were told that victims were buried there and wanted to see what goodies they could find. They began to hear noises, and started to get scared. Meanwhile upstairs, while still ransacking the rooms, one of the kids cell phone rang. The caller said in a weird voice, Don't go in the Basement!" "What," the kid asked, "who is this?", How you get my number?" "Your number will be up soon, little man" and the caller laughed and hung up. So the kid decided not to get scared by this caller and went down to the basement alone to check it out. Once in there he saw something sitting in one of the dark corners. He shined his flashlight on the figure and realized it was one of other kids who were searching the bottom level of the house. He was just sitting there but he was also dead. With his arms and legs cut off and placed all the way across the room. He looked up to see words dripping in blood on the wall saying. "See what happens to kids that don't do as they are told." The boy began to back away slowly and read something on another wall, He read the words in horror. "your next" Days later after the kids parents reported them missing. And only after getting many reports of a decaying like smell that was coming from the old house. Maggot infested blood trails led searchers to the twisted mangled remains of the badly decomposed bodies of the kids that had been scattered and horribly put onto display as works of art for unsuspecting onlookers to find. throughout the house. All the kids were found murdered, and until this day no suspects had been found . . .
