I'm gonna be an a-hole here for a moment. And I am doing it because a statement like this pisses me off to no end. Do I say "Looking for a REAL woman?" Hell no, and for good reason. Why the hell would I ask for something that assumes I want perfection. A real woman? What? Do I want plastic? Pfffft. If I did, then I live in the wrong part of the country for that. Women who say they want a real man simply think that a real man is a guy who will bow to their every whim. And while I am all about compromise, and all about wanting to make a woman happy, I am not about to be her definition of what she thinks I should be. You either like Goof or not. Don't treat me like a ball of play-doh and try to create something out of me. But, as usual, a guy is supposed to sit back and listen to some women biatch about "real" men. A guy is supposed to say to a woman "I am a real man. I want to get with you". Yeah. Already just committed yourself to being her little puppy dog. And no. I do not buy into the theory that women want a man with "honesty, integrity, and blah, blah, blah". Of course women want that. So most say. And most do. But the fact is, a good portion of women want to make a man into what she sees to think he should be. Yes, there are men who do this too. But we are talking about women here. All I am saying is that I think when women say this, they are hiding their true intent. It has been proven time and time again that women can say all the nice things, want the personality and all that good stuff. But when it boils down to it, they either want to control a guy or they simply want a guy with the looks. And if you think it isn't true, then look around you. The proof smacks you in the face on a daily basis. Ugh! I'm done. Feel better hubby?

All I am saying is that I think when women say this, they are hiding their true intent. It has been proven time and time again that women can say all the nice things, want the personality and all that good stuff. But when it boils down to it, they either want to control a guy or they simply want a guy with the looks. And if you think it isn't true, then look around you. The proof smacks you in the face on a daily basis. Goof, it isn't just the looks that women want. It's also the bad boy lifestyle that they want. In short, women want to fulfill their lusts just as much as men do. The lusts may differ, but they are still lusts. |

My last deployment gave me time for self actalization and it has helped me alot so far. Think men try too hard to understand women. I think acceptance is far more important.
