I just been watching a proggy called "Stephen Fry in America", and though breif, he showed a little of the hoopla that precedes a college football game. The game seemed to be a pretty big deal, judging by the size of the crowd, cheer-leaders & a couple of hyper-active brass bands. The game was in Alabama, & one of the teams was called "Auburn" in Red &White, I didnt see or hear the other teams name, but they appeared to be in dark Blue & White. No doubt officionados of the game(?) will be able to figure out who did what & unto whom. It is a strange game, where the players are dressed for ice hockey, and wear motor-cycle crash helmets. Definately different.
