The contradictions of nowadays
Talent alone won’t get you anywhere,
I’ve realised that this world is dirty,
Here, now, I’ve gotta win, gonna fight

What I’ve got
Takes effort to achieve
I alone am proof of my worth

It's alright, all the time, I'm better
You’ll know the truth someday
my soul, my body, my future
Every day is a struggle, the road isn’t flat
Guess I’ll just have to do it
my time, my life, my feeling

Simple words have hurt my pride
Gonna let the world know about me

I’m steadily, surely, reaching my ideals
