Dumbest shows? I'm torn between choosing "reality shows" or "soap
operas". Both feature the same things. Repetetive storylines,
horrible(or worse) acting, and lines of "people" who can't wait for the
opportunity to be humiliated.

A lot of people mentioned Jerry Springer(which is about as real as pro
wrestling). Admit something, folks:Dosen't everyone on here have at
least one co-worker who tells such amazing family stories, that it's made
you remark to them at least once that THEY should be on Springer?

I know some... My life is more fit for a horror movie. lol

As long as there are dumb folk? dumb happens.

Thing is, we have a choice, hmmm... I just don't watch. simple, yes?

Not all people are entertained in the same way... doesn't mean they are
below or above any other... Funny how people have ideas of what is a
standard, lol.

Okay. Stupid single show as opposed to a genre. Here's one from the
late'80s :The Hat Squad. Four brothers on a police force. Their gimmick
was they all wore fedoras(I kid you not). That was supposed to keep you
glued to the TV for an hour. Paint drying had a better story(and better
acting). But,as the infomercial says, BUT WAIT,THERE'S MORE!!!! This
show contained the(by far)most retarded moment in TV history-when trying
to catch a runaway thief on a motorcycle, one of the brothers set up at
a bridge ahead of the cyclist. When the cyclist got close, the brother
FREAKING BUNGEE-JUMPED off the bridge, delivering a "clothesline"
move(yep, the same clothesline you see on wrestling)to the cyclist,
knocking him off his bike. I swear, I'm not making this up. And, I
haven't been drinking, either. Of course, when I was watching this
crap(prisoner of my girlfriend at the time, who loved the show)I was
secretly begging for a strong drink(or several)!
