Marigolds will keep more harmful insect pests out of your garden, and it's good tp intersperse them with your rows of vegetables, and around the perimeter of any or all of your gardens

they r edible and taste good in salads

it's very easy to collect seeds from and germinate them for the next season

once you purchase 1 packet of marigold seed u should never have to purchase another. and u will after time see some interesting mutations/strains come out

just be sure to wait until the flower head has totally wihter and dried or the seed will not be ripe.
