Yeah we do call it Fall!! It is my favorite season. We have alot of mountains around us and I love when the leaves change color
|

While I'm a fan of colour, and in particular, Autumnal colours, it's not a season to look forward to for me. It is only heralding the approach of Winter, & of Winter I am no friend. I hate being cold!ost trees in NZ are "Evergreen" so the oranges, browns & reds of autumn are not all that common.Last spring I planted a "Liquid Amber" in the yard, these are trees wh's leaves turn very deep red during autumn, though I don't know if they are available in the US.

I looked it up Ray and they are more in the southeastern part of the US so I am too far north. In our area however most of our trees turn red, yellow and orange so it is quite a beautiful sight. I am not a fan of the cold either although I think I would miss seeing the leaves change color and I would miss seeing snow too.
