Click on "My Account," then "Settings," then "De-Activate Profile."

At this time, there is no provision for members to delete their accounts. One reason for this is because some members choose to deactivate for periods of varying length and then return and reactivate their accounts.

There is also a "Contact Us" option on your homepage, which allows you to contact the site Admins.

This is very bad... I don't want to deactivate my account. I want to DELETE it. Simple as that. I don't want any traces left online. Is that too much asked? It shouldn't be hard to just delete a profile from a website? It just sucks that when you google for my account name, you can find all the posts I've made, plus you can discover I had an account here.
The fact that this website does not provide any means to delete your account is a serious invasion of everyone's privacy!!!

I suggest reading the "Terms of Use," which can be accessed through a link at the bottom of your main page. This should clear up any questions relating to this topic.

Even on sites where you can delete, you aren't completely deleted from the internet.

The de-activation is the same as deleting except it gives the members the option of returning without creating a new profile.

Once de-activated, you won't show up in the searches here and no one can view your profile.

You will still show up in search engines, such as google, just as if you deleted from a site.

There is no option to delete, only deactivate. This is outlined in the Terms Of Use, which are agreed to, upon joining.

Let me explain this. The only difference, between deactivating and deleting, is deactivating allows you to return (if desired) . Even when accounts are deleted (on other sites), The sign up information is still in the database. This is for the protection of the site, should legal actions ensue.

Let me put it this way, as a scenario....
Say one member maliciously attacks another (personally) off site. If the site has no record of the attacker, then the site could be held liable.

That's just good business, folks, not only for the protection of the site, but for it's members.

Here is the solution.. If you want to deactivate permanently, first, edit your profile and remove all photos and text. Next, click "my account">"settings" Turn off email notifications, and select "deactivate profile"
