Topic: IE7 Help Needed Please. | |
---|---|
OK, I am sorry for all the questions and problems guys (all though my
last one is still not fixed). On Saturday I did something really stupid and tried to crack IE7. As I have a cracked version of XP and could not download it. Well when doing so I got a corruption error and had to take my computer in to get fix. I got home and to my surprise my computer guy installed IE7 for me. but I am missing the tool bar on it. Like the Favorites, Tools, help and all that stuff. I am happy to have IE7 finnally but is there away to get the tool bar? I do not want to delete it as I will not be able to reinstall it again. Thank you once again for the help. |

IE7 sucks. I downloaded it when it first became available, and it
wreaker havoc with my entire system. My advice is that you go back to IE6 if you're able to. If you want to try it, simply delete the entire IE7 program and IE6 should return by default. |

This is how you turn on the tool bars in an earlier version of IE, try
this and see if it works in IE7: Go up to the menu bar ("File", "Edit", View", etc...) anywhere in the menu bar, click the right mouse button and see if it creates a drop-down menu like "standard buttons", "address bar", "links" etc. Might be slightly different in IE7. Highlight an option and left click on it to enable the selected toolbar. |

Thank you for your advice USmale. But I have used IE7 before on other
computers and it seemed to work just fine. I happen to like it a lot better then IE6. Massage, it is the menu bar that I am missing. Sorry just use to calling it the Tool bar. |

Doh! Your window is merely a frame - and a web page? Nothing to
'mouse' on, except the title bar and the border? I'll see if I can find the keystrokes you need... |

if you don't have IE7 because of the cracked XP issue, there is a version of XP that does not nned to be cracked and you can still download all of the updates from m$, i have been using it for a long time now.
Also I have Vista (free) and got it registered, |
