No, I will not be going to Tulsa to see this show tomorrow night. I saw Skynyrd before the plane crash and last time at Red Rock, OK where they touted their new recording called "God and Guns".

They've tarnished the original band's messages to a degree that LS is no longer LS. Them teaming up with Sean Hannity and FOCKS and the corporations that now own them has left me stunned...and pizzed off.

Now there's this:

Schlussel claims she has been trying to get Hannity to address the issue but he has been reluctant to comment, and she claims she was not granted an interview with the president of the charity foundation, Freedom Alliance. Its founder, Oliver North, allegedly has addressed Schlussel's concerns with Hannity.

Artists scheduled for this year's Freedom Concerts include Charlie Daniels, Michael W. Smith and Lynyrd Skynyrd, with Gold Circle seating going for $125, Silver Circle seating at $100 and lower-end tickets at $75. Cities include Jackson, Orlando, Las Vegas, Dallas and San Diego."

you didn't know that's with all fund-raising? if you look, it usualy says a PORTION of the proceeds is going to be donated to the charity...
usually 10-20% after expenses... just about all fundraisers are scams.

No, on his show Hannity said "all the money we make" goes to the cause...it is a scam and worse they are using Skynyrd (who sold out for the T-bagger's agendas) to commit this scam. Why isn't Hannity using his own money to attend?

If some money is going to the charity, its not a scam.

I covered that...it is a scam and that POS Hannity lied. The funny part (if any) is that a conservative blogger outed the scam..LOL.

But after all expenses are paid (its not cheap to travel or pay a rock band!!), there is still money going to the charity. Just because its not enough in your opinion, or the message they are saying does'nt jive with yours, does'nt make it a scam.

The charity is still getting donations from these events, thus its not a scam.

Now if it came from Nigeria or the Phillipeans, it would be a scam!!

Split among the numbers (solely going off of the US casualties documented) they get all but 3% of $4,000. Or $120 for each.

it's still a play on words... if it was something they believed in,they could do all of it for free, it's not like LS or hannity is broke. they are doing to make money, and saying it is for charity. i see both or your points, and they are both good points... anything that goes to the charity is good, but it could be a lot more because they making sure they get paid.
