A building permit application was submitted for a new house described as being 40 ft tall and 400 ft wide, with 9 gun turrets at various heights, windows all over the place. and an outside sound system. It would have parking for 200 cars and would be painted snot green with pink trim. The City Council said 'no'. The application was resubmitted, and it was called a 'mosque' instead. Work begins on Monday.

I do think it's ironic that the left wing, including Mr Rational Olbermann, were up in arms when Dubai World wanted to run some ports. I can't imagine why they weren't spouting off about tolerance and understanding then.. comical... |
