`rhetoric and interpretation

is it protecting ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS? or is it protecting CITIZENS who may be PROFILED as an immigrant and treated as a potential criminal...?

sorry but profiling is illegal in certain instances, but the laws DO NOT APPLY to those who are here illegally they are not entitled to the equal protections we are entitled to. This is where people seem to miss the boat. Unfortunately everyone white, black, Indian and Hispanic will prolly have to be profiled and checked to avoid this brouhaha, but frankly, I think non english speaking people from spanish speaking and Arab countries should expect to be checked, and I see nothing wrong with that as we have a problem with illegal immigration that we have to resolve, and we are at war with an Arab nation and at war against Islamic extremist terrorism. Believe me , I wish we weren't. I would LOVE it if we could just open our arms & welcome the world, but that is unfortunately naieve.

Anyone who is here legally has naught to fear.

" ... the problem is that some of our own business owners want them here as a source of cheap labor so as a silent lobby - they act to keep them here ... "

In case y' haven't noticed how fast business owners are closin' their doors and layin' people off because of 'The UN's 'economic policies' and taxation, that argument no longer holds water ... Business just ain't hiring the way it used to when the FREE MARKET was in effect ...

What DOES hold water is the DemoComs wantin' 'em here to use in their Vote Fraud Machine as 'bloc votes' to steal elections ...

that may be true but as I look around I see workers in retaurants, construction and agriculture in particular who look to have at least some probability of being here illegally. In this neck of the woods, we have as many Mexicans as ever coming up to work in ag

I'm still trying to figure out why people who shouldnt be there are getting any special treatment here at all.....if they are not supposed to be here....or got here illegally...then GET THEM THE HELL OUT!

A crime is a crime. For one to take crimes seriously and then look the other way on illegal immigration and related crimes is just aweful. Also they should be prosecuted as aiding a criminal.

People a Felony is a Felony and for them to pock and choose what laws they are going to enforce is criminal.
