It's not so much the heat as the sweltering, ghastly humidity ...
The 'dog days' of August are by far the very worst! There is nothing worse, imho, formed by decades there ...  ... Seriously!

Yep Debbie...you are gonna get your cherry popped in a big way. It was a brisk and nipply 105..has been for a week solid. 10 o'clock at night=92.
While you are here. Pick up a few Shiners. (Shiner Bock...shiner blonde if you cant do a dark beer) It is tradition. A great Texas beer to cool you off in the heat. Trust me on this. Also, make sure you get some actual MEXICAN mexican food..oh god, it is soo good. Just outside of Houston is LaGrange with a little mexican resteraunt that has a sign in the window "ZZ TOPS favorite resteraunt".....I swear, I would kill people just for another plate of thier enchiladas. I hope you have a great time with your spawn and welcome to hell! |

... ...No worries............I grew up in ARKANSAS spent the summers there with my Grandfather   I do remember last time I was there was 1996 when my Grandfather had a HEART ATTACK!
