well shrx, how's this? About 20 years ago I went to Bogard's in Cincinnati Ohio to see Lesile West (remember Mountain?) Anyway, we get there and pay about $20 a piece to get in and buy a bunch of pitchers (ther WERE 3 of us afterall ). Leslie West strolls out on stage - on time to his credit - says nothing sits down on a stool and starts to roll out Missisippi Queen for an opener - expected but great anyway- he gets about half way through the song an falls down dead drunk on the stage floor. Just heard a thud and some twangin' and that was all she wrote
I do b'lieve we got our $$$ back from Mr West but honestly, twas memorable |

Audioslave at Lollapalooza. Never experienced anything like it, and when they played "Seven Nation Army" I almost cried.
Arcade Fire put on a great show as well, but my all time fave was last year... Paul McCartney. So, so good. I was front row, waited in 110 degree weather all day with nothing in me but a protein bar and two bottles of water, but it was so worth it. |
