Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents believe overwhelmingly that their department leadership has become so politicized as to compromise the effectiveness of ICE and the safety of American people. Their union has released a letter announcing its recent unanimous “vote of no confidence” in ICE agency heads, accusing them of “misleading the American public” regarding illegal immigration in order to further a pro-amnesty agenda. In June, the National Immigration and Customs Enforcement Council — an AFL-CIO affiliate — and affiliated local councils cast a unanimous 259-0 vote of no confidence in ICE Director John Morton and Assistant Director Phyllis Coven. In a letter announcing the vote, the National Council criticized the directors for “misguided and reckless initiatives,” and said their leaders have “abandoned the Agency’s core mission of enforcing United States immigration laws and providing for public safety, and have instead directed their attention to campaigning for policies and programs related to amnesty.” DUH!! Ya' think? Janice Kephart at the Center for Immigration Studies has the letter, which includes several biting indictments of ICE failures by ICE agents. For instance: Senior ICE leadership dedicates more time to campaigning for immigration reforms aimed at large scale amnesty legislation, than advising the American public and Federal lawmakers on the severity of the illegal immigration problem, and the need for more manpower and resources within the ICE ERO to address it. ICE ERO is currently overwhelmed by the massive criminal alien problem in the United States resulting in the large-scale release of criminals back into local communities. I would include Napalitano in the list!! |

How come no one complains about the "Lake Superior Wetbacks?" I've known several people from Canada, that live here like they own the place. When are we going to send Martin Short back to where he belongs? I see no reason to complain about the Southern Border if we aren't going to do the same thing for the Northern one.
If you truly want to be serious about closing the border, is suggest you do it with a quarter mile strip of land mines, placed side by side. It actually solves two problems. It closes an open border, and it rids the military of their stockpile of landmines. It'll help the border guards because they will be able to "hear" illegal entry, and we no longer have to worry about deporting illegals. Of course the nation will have to put on its "big boy" pants again, something we haven't done since 1945. Just a suggestion, but I doubt anyone has the "cajones." |

Hell, gimme a check, a couple hands, satellite TV, internet, unlimited varmint hunting license, an air-conditioned RV, send out a couple prostitutes a month and I'll be their boi! I'll have 'em laid quicker than I laid the first ex-wife. I'd even do the humanitarian thang and post signs warnin' 'em of imminent death should they attempt crossing. |

It ain't so bad.
Today, it's a little overcast and only 100. To stay cool, a lot of folks wear long sleeve shirts, khaki type pants and stay plenty hydrated. I'm out welding in the open with a tee shirt and shorts. To lay mines, it would best be done at night. In the dry desert, it cools down enough to need a windbreaker. Here, it will cool down to about 77 at night. Per McLame. He's still pictured as one of La Raza's poster boys even though he's turned coat on 'em fearing getting put jobless. He can shuck-n-jive as good as Hussein. |

McShame's still a RINO ... just like his little buddies Grahamnesty, Snowe, Collins, et al ... they all need to go, but they're not all up for re-election this time around.
