Topic: Anyone Else Getting These Radical Storms?

Were going into our second night of intense thunder and lightening storms. It's so loud I couldn't sleep last night, thunder just rumbling across the sky for 10 minutes at a time. The lightening is all around, not isolated to one area of the sky. It's radical! I haven't seen storms like this for a while. I do love a good storm. Anyone else getting this weather?

Here in NKY Were are getting pounded right now! It was 107 with heat index.

no but we can use the rain right now it had been hot for awhile but it cooled off a little... we actually had some clouds but nothing to do with storms i like hearing the sounds at times

I lived in Pompano Beach along time ago, waaaay long time ago. Then in Charleston, South Carolina and oh boy howdy..there were some incredible storms down there..very cool, VERY!

all of the time.....104 today 118 w/heat index and this afternoon we got 1 1/2 in. of rain in 40 minutes thanks to an amazing thunderstorm.

No such luck here. Northern Indiana, been grey and occasionally drizzled. I love a good storm.

I swear the only reason I go back to New York every year (really it's not to visit my family ), is so I can see a good thunderstorm. We get no weather here other than fog in the morning and sunny in the afternoon.

Well, its the rainy season here in Vallarta so there are some spectacular storms...time to get out of dodge!

No rain here in TN, but lots of electrical storms with TONS of lightning and thunder ... this is my favoritest kinda weather except for hurricanes ... and yes, I've been flooded 2.5 times by hurricanes (last one being Katrina), so don't start with the 'you don't know what it's like' stuff - I just love the raw elemental power of that kinda weather ...

The storm clouds keep rolling over here, every afternoon. But, we mostly get distant thunder, extreme wind and a few drops of rain. Yesterday, it knocked down half of a Bradford Pear tree. I have pictures...but can't get them to show from photobucket.
