Had they finished the sentence? Maybe they made you a sandwich?
It wasnt your dad that said this was it? Maybe they meant 'maid'? it might have been a job offer. |

when someone says the "made" you? They're a sculptor ... ? Or a baker ... ? Dunno ... Or a man who makes potions in a..... traveling show... I love the subliminal musical entertainment. :) Haha.. *whistles* |

You made you....No one else can "make" you. Well, I think I can Make you laugh or giggle, but the whole of you, your self is yours and yours alone. This is my interpretation too. I never understand when I hear people say “other people” made them who they are in life. I hear this from parents: their kids made them accomplished people. I really don’t understand this statement. Shouldn’t people be proficient and stable BEFORE having kids? Don’t rely on having kids to beat addictions or lack of ambition. Why can’t people achieve success on their own? Why do people need so many crutches in life to succeed? Thrive on your own because at some point in life, we will be on our own again. If a person has kids – they move on and start their own lives; parents pass away, relationships end (including friendships) etc. People should depend only on themselves and complete goals by their own power and inspiration. Also, it’s a good idea to have your own identity – and not be “Suzie’s mom” or “Ann’s husband”. |

They figured out who you are, what you are about. A very manipulative statement, really, careful with this one.
