And I have to say...it is rather annoying. I type up this really good (or really bad) topic, spend my time on it, click 'Post New Topic' and boom! It disappears into oblivion.

It is ****ing annoying.

hmmmmmm Charles or Mark might need to check into this. I don't know of any glitch. I haven't had a problem (yet) with this.

It has been an issue I've been experiencing since the new "revisioned Mingle2." And it is pretty annoying, I've brought it up in the past, I don't know if admin even bother to look into it because it more than likely deals with coding they have nothing to do with.

very annoying, happens to me all the time. I was under the impression it was my internet connection using wireless. Like the connection was broke half way through the transaction. But i've learned to copy what i've written before i click post reply, i would suggest that in the mean time of them getting this fixed.

We've taken a look at this issue, but we have not been able to find any clear problems. So, again, until we can dedicate more time toward the issue, we highly recommend that you copy any post which you would not want to type again before you submit it. Until then, I apologize to everybody affected.

Understandable, but this issue still persists for me. Just happened again at this thread http://mingle2.com/topic/show/280874 about a minute ago.

Oh, too add: IE 8, Windows XP Professional, any other details necessary to help?

This has happened to me, and I find it by hitting my 'backspace' key, have you tried this? Always find mine, but then, I have a really old ocmputer.

Yea, I had that problem when I was using Internet Explorer. I don't have that problem with Firefox now.

If you spend alot of time typing it, use copy and paste to make a copy before you hit the post button just in case.

Or at least that is what I do.

Your computer's details will certainly help when we're able to dedicate the resources to this potential bug, yes. If anybody else would like to leave their computer's details, email me the operating system and browser version (type and version in both cases, please). While we value these forums quite a bit, we simply can't afford to troubleshoot this the way we need to (if the problem does originate on our side), at this time. The bottom line is that a thorough investigation is not going to happen anytime soon.
